First, be sure to rule out any issues with your media by plugging it into another system that you know works. If you can see your files and save data to your media on another Mac, or a system running Windows, you may have a problem with your installation.
Common causes for not being to write to your NTFS volume (that aren't caused by a failing media or file system corruption) include:
- You haven't restarted your computer after completing the installation (this is required!).
- Our driver has not loaded because it is blocked by macOS (see here for more details).
- NTFS for Mac is disabled in System Preferences (see here for more details).
- Our driver has not loaded due to the presence of a conflicting NTFS driver or remnants of one on your system (see here for more details).
