Help! I am getting the error message 'Too many layers in remote path'

Why am I seeing this error every time I attach a storage device?

The error you've encountered is usually the result of having another third-party NTFS driver installed. The drivers conflict with one another creating a condition where neither can function properly.

I already uninstalled the other NTFS driver/app - or I think I did!
